Throughout his career he has been able to learn from some of the most highly regarded members of the mental health community, including Dr. Arwen Podesta; Dr. Gabor Mate; Dr. Jordan Peterson; Dr. Gerald Corey; and Dr. William Bischoff. He has been able to apply his knowledge to various disorders, including--but not limited to-- trauma, panic disorders, and major depressive disorders. Ricky is the pioneer of Integrative Identity Therapy (I.I.T) which theorizes that mental health disorders are actually a phenomena event in a persons life that is rooted in the fragmentation of personal identity. Fragmentation can occur due to trauma, addiction, family expectations, etc. The process for integrating personality has been largely fragmented in the field of psychology until Integrative Identity Therapy. This theoretical model provides the framework of integrating personality through careful research of the mind-body connection. This research gave rise to the neurobiological pyramid of influence a tool that is crucial in helping orient and synthesize personality. Through this process an individual can find sustainable healing that leads to long lasting remission from various disorders.
